rash from chlorine
I took DD swimming yesterday, she is 7 months old. She was in the pool for about 20 minutes havign a great time splashing away. After the pool she fell asleep in her bathing suit, and last night when I was giving her a bath I noticed red blotches all over her back, no where else on her body. Could this be from the chlorine in the pool?
I have an appointment with the pediatrician today.

DD#1 we think has an allergy to the chemicals in the pool. As long as we keep her on allegra she is okay but if we don't give it to her she gets a very red itchy rash and sometimes a swollen eye.

My sister has a chlorine allergy. Pools and hot showers give her a rash on her back and chest. She still swam for a swim team... So no serious effects.
