Rapid weight gain

I am 35 weeks. Went to the OB 2 weeks ago and then again yesterday, I gained 7 pounds!! I don't think I changed my eating at all (even though I haven't been eating the healthiest throughout the pregnancy). She said I had no protein in urine to indicate pre eclampsia. She said that if this happens again she'll retest for GD - I passed the 1 hour with no problem.

Sounds like it is just regualr weight gain, but I was surprised by how much! Would you be concerned?

Did you by any chance get weighed at totally diff times of the day? I know that if one appointment is a morning appointment and the next is later in the day it could throw off the "weight gain" by a few pounds.

I wouldn't stress too much. the baby packs on half a pound a week at that point and a lot may be water retention. See what next appointment brings but don't worry too much!

Same appointment I gained 4 ponds and the doctor seemed a bit concerned except she blamed it on my water retention!! Are you swollen?

I gained a LOT of weight at the end, and I was actually eating less than in the other 2 trimesters. I think in the last trimester I gained like 20lbs or something. It's kind of embarrassing.
