I have been having a rapid heatbeat which I know it can be normal but, I feel sometimes it is beating so hard. Should I call my dr?

I would call and have them check your blood pressure. Are you on any medication?

I have this from time to time too and I mentioned it to my doctor and she said it's normal.

It could be due to your stress. try to take it easy if you can and when you start to feel stressed out remove yourself from the situation and talk a walk to calm down and dont forget to breathe. I when I'm stressed out I noticed i had heart palpitations too.

Re: rapid heartbeat
it was happening a lot to me btwn 9-13 weeks, its finally subsiding. I saw my primary for an ekg, he wanted me to go see a cardiologist to wear the all day monitor but i started feeling better. They say it can be caused by increase in oxygen and blood flow. Def mention it to your doc just to be safe!

Re: rapid heartbeat
This happened to me, too, for a period of about a month (I'll estimate between weeks 16 and 20?). It always happened when I was resting/laying down. Hasn't happened in a while. I mentioned it to my doc and he wasn't concerned at all.
