I have his name & he has mine.
do i regret it? yes and no. i mean, i love him dearly and all.... but i DO want to get it covered up. its a shytty tattoo and i want a big piece there. but he gets upset and insulted when i bring this up.
i wouldnt want to get it somewhere else but i would def want to get a "K" (for kevin)
but i may just have to end up getting it again.
but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it! ive so many more tats to get before starting my back

This may sound horrible, but I do not think I would ever get a tattoo of someone who was not related by blood. Only one of my 4 tattoos actually has any serious significance at all and that is one that combines the zodiac signs of my parents and myself. I also think that my DH would not want to see his name on my body. He can barely tolerate the tattoos I already have.

I totally agree with this.
We want to get similar tattoos as a unity thing, something that represents both of us. Now that we have DS, maybe we will try to incorporate him too.

DH has mine. I was appalled at first and told him i hope he would never expect me to get his tatooed on my body. It has grown on me since.

I agree too. The only name I might get would be my child's. DH HATES tattoos so it doesn't bother him in the least.
