random question..... airfresheners
do you buy glade things regularly? like those scented plug-ins?
I see ads constantly, yet I know no one who actually buys these products

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I have a night light one in my bathroom. I love buying different scents each time.

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I have them strategically placed around the house..I find the ones from Bath and Body Works and, yes, Method, work the longest and have the best smells...

Re: random question..... airfresheners
We use the one that puffs every so often. It's in the kitchen to help with the stink of the cat food. It works well. I like the scented oil plug in ones too. The problem is that you get used to the smell!
I found some old plugins - those gel ones and they still smell! I put them in the bathroom and you can smell them when you're close to them.

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I remember hearing about the plug in kind being a fire hazard a few years back, though snopes says that it's not necessarily true. I stopped using them anyway, not worth the chance.

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I actually will never ever use the plug in kind. Not worth the risk. I try to do air freshening that is a bit more natural, like with essential oils and natural candles.

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I used to buy the scented oil wisper, but have been having trouble finding it. DH & I switched to the glade pearls and they seem to work well and the scents are good (I hace lavendar & clean linen).

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I should answer my own question....
I don't use them or scented candles becuase I suspect they are respiratory irritants.... especially if used regularly
however, if we're having a party, I'll light a candle in the living room

Re: random question..... airfresheners
I use the Febreeze Noticeables Plug ins. Works much better than the Glade ones and last longer too. It alternates between 2 scents every few minutes...

Re: random question..... airfresheners
i use the glade plug ins in the kitchen and living/dining room. Its faint enough to get a nice smell and not overwhelming. I got the bath and body works plug in with the light and love the eculyptus spearamint (sp) It smells like a spa!
