Raise your hand if you're dealing with an overstimulated baby right now!

DD (6mos) is CRAZY today. We hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so she had attention or was held for the last 2 days. Today, if you're not holding her or dare walk out of a room she screams making my clean up efforts that much more difficult. I kept her on her schedule the entire time but to no avail Chat Icon

oooooo oooo me!! DD is completely overstimulated! She happy and playing one min then crying and crawling after me the next! She had way too much attention from the adults and tons of cousins these past few days.

Hmmmmm you may be on to something.

DD only napped the last two days with someone holding her. . . and guess what? every time I put her down today for a nap - she screams bloody murder. LOL oh well, she was so awesome for Christmas Eve AND day, I can't complain.

The twins were great with everyone here and going to IL's house yesterday, but they are waaaaay overstimulated! They were actually more crazy last night...today, they have been sleeping machines Chat Icon

OH MY GOD...THE PAST FEW DAYS WERE UNREAL.

MIL/SIL/BIL were here 12/23-12/24; then my brother came 12/24 and stayed over, my parents 12/25. Nothing but gift opening, toys, sensory overload for sure.

Yesterday DS was a total mess after a while. today he's much better. Thank god everyone went home..LOL.

Me! My poor DD is very overstimulated and overtired from the last few days and the traveling we did for the holidays - she took a monster 3 1/2 hour nap this afternoon (usually it's about 2 hours) and was still rubbing her eyes early this evening - thankfully she's also a sleep machine when she's overstimulated so we can all get some much needed rest!

DS has been good but only because of a lot of effort to stick to his schedule. We were home and he got to nap in his crib but it was harder to get him down with all the commotion. It didn't help having to keep MIL out of there as he was trying to fall asleep Chat Icon

Dd has been so off schedule. Crying constantly when anyone but me attempts to hold her. Im so happy the holidays are over, now our lives can go back to normal

Meee! My normally very easy baby girl (3.5 months) takes forever to put down for naps and bedtime now.. luckily she hasn't been TOO spoiled with the needing to be hold, but calming her down has been rough!

My baby boy just turned a month yesterday...He was definitely over stimulated the past couple of days omg!!! and we were just doing a 12-6 stretch of sleeping at night and last night he was a little messed up because he did a stretch from 9-3 AM...hopefully we can get back into the groove!!
