raise
my employer is large enough to see a big tax benefit with the new tax laws.
our usual yearly review/compensation change is usually done over the summer and we see a change in pay some time in august.
because of the tax changes, my employer has decided to push forward raise time to april. i just got off the phone with my boss and i will be seeing a raise in my income as of april 1.
when i took this job, i took a cut in pay. i'm pennies away from the pay i left behind. now, is when it's really starting to pay off... almost same pay as before plus crazy benefits and a much shorter commute (that's about to get even shorter)!!
i'm a happy girl.
only wish the raise would have kicked in before my surgeries so that my STD would be higher lol
