Quote for some yard work
My yard is a hot mess...I had someone come take a look to have the following done:
-grading area where above ground pool used to be (clearing rocks, weeds and add approx 10 yards of dirt)
-clear the perimeter of yard of overgrowth of lots of weeds and some small trees.
-tree some dead branches on several trees.
-remove a 12x20 concrete slab.
Materials/labor: $3500
Does this sound fair?

Get at least 2 other quotes and then compare. We recently went through this and without other quotes to compare I had no idea what was good. We had our entire backyard and sideyard regraded, top soiled and seeded. We got 3 quotes and they ranged from $3,500-$6,500. It's unbelievable how expensive yard work is!

I know...I nearly fell down at $3500 because that's just for basic work...no plants!
