quitting job today to be SAHM...Help
when I left for maternity leave I told my manager that I would be returning 8/1. I have decided to not return and be a SAHM to my 2 girls.
What should I tell my job? I am so nervous which is stupid since I wont be going back anyway lol Just looking for help with my wording I guess...

I pretty much did the same thing...
I went back for like a day then gave my 3 week notice. You are doing it way smarter than I did!! lol
I left on great terms. I just told my boss that it's a new chapter in my life, and I feel like my place is at home with my DS right now. I was commuting into NYC and out of my house for 12 hours/day and that played a huge role in my decision. I also talked up how much I loved it there and would love to return when/if I'm ready. I left feeling really good about my decision!

Just remember (like u said urself) ur LEAVING so it doesn't really matter what their response is!
Haha I mean, you should still be polite and everything but just take a breath bc after that last call/email/visit ur dc is ur new boss, lol.
