quick SLR ques. for the mom's
so I don't find myself loving my Canon SLR yet. How do you get such rapid pics? I find myself constantly playing with the zoom and focus before taking pics and I end up losing the shot I wanted What settings do you keep it on mostly. I use automatic, am I doing something wrong?

probly a dumb question- nikon has u press the button down halfway to focus, then all the way to shoot....does canon have that...??

there's a little button that has a picture of a bunch of overlapping rectangles. (i think it's them same button for the timer-i don't have my camera in front of me). press that and make sure that the overlapping rectangles show up on the digital screen and you will be in continuous mode. just hold your finger down on the shutter and it will take pics in rapid succession.

It needs to be set in Portrait mode to use that feature I think...

i see it and it is with the self timer. when i press it it just says drive mode- single shooting? do i have to set it someother way for continuous mode?
