Quick question about resume

I got my resume down to one page..i just thought it looked a bit too long. I'm trying really hard to get into public school for September. I put some buzz words in and it looks good.

Now my question: is it okay for the resume to be in 10 font?? i hope it is or I'm going to have to do some changing around. Thank you in advance!

Re: Quick question about resume

I am not sure about size 10 font. It might be difficult to read. I used size 12 font. If your resume is a little over two pages that should be fine. Just make sure to print both pages on separate sheets and not back to back.

Re: Quick question about resume

that sounds a bit small to me....

how about making it 12 point font. yes it will flow onto a second page, but then you can use the rest of the second page for unrelated teaching experience that they may find interesting and/or to put the contact information for your references? i did that and got lots of interviews.

GOOD LUCK!

Re: Quick question about resume

I'm so afraid that my resume will just get tossed because it's too long. I really want to get an interview this summer..I didn't even achieve that last summer. I'm just so confused. Thanks for your responses. I appreciate the help!

Re: Quick question about resume

My resume is 2 pages and I've been called for alteast 6 interviews this year. I think 10 font is small.

My resume was two pages. When you have experience it's hard to condense it down to one page.

Re: Quick question about resume

size 10 is definitely too small to read.

2 pages isn't horrible if it is all relevant experience.
