quick question about jetblue
do they provide earphones to watch the tvs? or do you need to pay?

Last time, we paid.
ETA: It was $2 for us as well. I think you had to have exact change or use a credit/debit card or something. I can't remember what, but there was something annoying.

It was by cc/debit card only last time, no cash. Weird.

In the terminal, you can pay cash. If you buy them on the plane, you have to use a debit/credit card. Standard headphones work in the armrest jacks if you already own a set to bring with you.

It was $2 last time we flew and they only took credit/debit no cash. One direction can't remember which one - their machine broke so they gave them out for free.
etd to add that they weren't selling them before boarding on our flight - but that was back in May 2010 so they might have changed.

Yup.
There's a little plastic case by the gate where you can just put in $2 cash and get headphones. If you do it on the plane it's credit/debit only. They don't accept any cash on the plane
