quick question - how long..
I just pumped some milk - how long is it good for at room temp?

I've gotten different answers on this. I've read only one hour, two hours and as much as 4 hours. I try to keep it only at one hour just to be safe!

Freshly pumped milk is good for 2 hours at room temp unless you are in a warm temp room such as a kitchen with the oven on during the summer. If in doubt, put it in the frig. You can also pour say 4oz into 2 2oz bottles. Keep one for now and then if the baby wants more you can use the frig one. I never warmed Molly's bottles after the first 6 weeks. I just took the milk out of the frig or if it was just pumped then it was warmed by nature It made life much easier for her to use the frig milk too.
