Quick: Need a casual restaurant in RVC/Baldwin/Merrick etc for today..
DH got promoted and I want to surprise him with an early dinner with my parents and our DS. Can't be too pricey but yummy and casual.
I can't decide on a place.

J. Pauls has good bar type food - sandwiches, appetizers, etc.
Macarthur's Park by the RVC train station might be a little nicer. I was only there once several years ago.

I really like Grillfire. Their choped salad and brownie sundaes are the best!
Oops, just noticed that you posted about Merrick. Don't know if it's related or not but I go to the one in RVC.
