quick making of baby food ???
i have just made a bunch of carrots - they are still warm from the steaming.
do i put them in the ice cube trays now - or wait for them to cool down???

thank u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! though i did just have to remake them because i didn't know not to use the carrot water!!!

Why not adding back the water? I've read some books that say cooking liquid can be used for thinning.  I try to use BM but why can't you use the cooking water from steaming? Just curious.

Carrots are the one of the only ones where you shouldn't add the water back. It has to do with the nitrates in the water.
