QUICK! Can we use calamine lotion???
I have a mosquito bite thats driving me nuts!! can we use calamine lotion or is that something thats a no no???

I did a search on this last week...some sites said yes and some said no. I did NOT end up using it. My mom (a nurse) told me to make a paste of baking soda and water and spread that on it....I can't tell you if that helped because I ddin't have baking soda so I just siuffered.

I got so bitten up at DH's soccer game last night, but i'm just suffering through it. Rubbing some ice cubes on them helps.

I'm not sure about calamine lotion but you could try a tea bag. Wet it and put it on the bite and it should help relieve the itch. (I don't think a tea bag would pose any threat during pregnancy.)
