Questions to ask day care centers?
Does anyone have a list of questions to ask day care centers? We need to start setting up tours and I feel completely clueless about what to ask. Thanks.

I downloaded this checklist just yesterday for Bright Horizons. We're going to try and go with them as they're right near my work, but it's helpful regardless of where you go.

Don't forget to also look and make sure all the safety precautions are there...
all the outlets are plugged up
outside playground has a soft rubber ground
in the baby area all corner or points on tables are covered
with infants there's supposed to be one teacher for every 3 or 4 babies.
Make sure they're Dyfus certified
You also want to make sure they check ID's for any nonparents coming to pick up the baby. If you give a family member permision they should ask for all their info
I worked at a DayCare all through college so I know a lot about them if you have any questions.
