Questions about Great Wolf Lodge?
We are planning a trip there at some point. Is this a place where you can just go for 1 night or do you need 2? I was thinking if we got there by noonish, checked in, we would have all day and night. Then we could leave during the afternoon the next following day. Or is it better to stay 2 nights?
Does the room include admission?
Any information is greatly appreciated - thanks!

I think check in is at 4 pm. Of course you can go earlier and see if your room is ready, then get the passes and go to the park before going to your room. Check out is early. I want to say 10 or 11 am. The room does include admission. I would wait for a sale to go because it is really expensive otherwise. Alternatively if you have the kid stuff book there is a coupon in there.

Re: Questions about Great Wolf Lodge?
Went this summer.
You can arrive by 1PM to start using the water park. If your room is ready you can go otherwise the latest you check in is 4PM.
Water Park is included.
1 night is perfect with little ones.
We went to water park about 1:30. Stayed there about 4 hours. Went & showered. Then had dinner & played on the arcade, did story time in the lobby ect. DS is 4 & he was up till midnight!
Packed most of our stuff & went for breakfast in the restuarant about 9:30. Went back up packed up the rest, checked out & loaded the car. But we kept smaller bags with clothes & showering stuff. Went in to the water park by 11:30, stayed a few hours, showered in the locker rooms & went home.

Questions about Great Wolf Lodge?
We went for 1 night when Emmy was about 17 months old. That was fine. We went again when Emmy was 2 and Sawyer was 6 months. We needed 2 nights but only stayed one. After that trip we said a 2 night minimum form now on. GWL is 3 hrs from our house so by the time we got there after all the stops we didn't have as much time as we wanted, and it wasn't very relaxing. Plus we like the area it's in so we wanted to shop a little. Having that second day to just relax and not "have" to spend the day at the park would have been better. There is a sale right now good until Dec 20th I believe if you book by tomorrow. Code is H48HOUR

Re: Questions about Great Wolf Lodge?
One night isn't enough for us. There isn't enough time to do everything they offer in terms of the things outside of the waterpark. Magiquest, kids club, bowling, video games, etc. etc. Not to mention I don't like to drive 3 hours with traffic to come back the next day. We always stay for 2 nights.

Yes, they try to scam you with that "sale". I hear that complaint often!

Sometimes it's a really great one and others it really depends. When we went in May we got a pretty "good" deal. I'm sorry it wasn't very helpful :(

Actually I tried different dates and it was around 40 dollars cheaper, so it was a good code, I guess it just depends on the days you enter..Thanks for the code, I will try a bunch of different dates and see which one has the best deal.

Re: Questions about Great Wolf Lodge?
1 night is doable but you'll be exhausted 2 nights is more relaxing. We just got back last week after doing 2 nights and we felt it was better then overnight. If you have kids ages 5 and up I would recommend the Magiquest. It's like a scavenger hunt which leads up to slaying a dragon (DH had to do this for my DD ) It's a lot of fun for the whole family but exhausting (a lot of up and down the stairs) and takes a few hours to do.
