questions about first cereal feedings
what was your cereal to formula/BM ratio? im not sure how thick the cereal should be. im assuming pretty runny as they only know liquids?
also, in the very beginning how long did you feed your LO for? ive fed Sophia oatmeal twice, second time was better than the first. but at this point shes really just getting used to the spoon. do i just feed her until she starts to get sick of cooperating and fuss?
which grain did you start you LO on?
and last -- when did you start fruits?

At first I did 1 tspn of cereal and an oz of BM.....He did finish the whole thing and eventually I just made it thicker and added more. I would just feed until your LO doesn't take it anymore...eventually they will just turn their head and push the spoon away....
I did rice for a week then oatmeal for a week...then I started the veggies for three days each...then fruit for the same.....

i started with a tablespoon of rice and 4 tbls formula for one week once a day
then i did 1 tbls rice 4 tbls formula 2 tbls fruit 2 times a day for one week
now i an using oatmel too

We did 1 TBS of oatmeal and 2 TBS of formula - the consistency was perfect and he ate it all! 
I'm not sure about starting fruits/veggies - I forgot to ask the doctor about it....

aww James did so well! 
Sophia doesnt really eat much of it yet, she spits half of it out. She did open her mouth better today when I tried, so it is progress. I was thinking maybe she's not ready, but some friends say its just because she's not used to the spoon yet.
