Question- would you do it or not?
Hi Ladies. I am due to get AF next week, probably around the 26th. I would like to go for my 2nd IUI, but problem is that I'm leaving for Florida for a week on May 1. Which means that the 2WW will be over probably about a week or so before I leave for Florida. My concern is if I get a BFP (ok, so I'm trying to be positive here) I will be traveling right after. I really want to do it now, because if I wait it will mean I have skipped 3 cycles since the last one, but not sure if its wise to do that.
If you were me, would you do the IUI now, or wait until you got back from the trip?

I would go. I have put too many plans on hold on the 'what-if' situations... and it's my biggest regret while dealing w/ IF.  If you get a BFP they're not going to have you in for daily monitoring or anything... they'll do a couple of betas most likely and probably tell you to come back in (insert your dr's timeframe here)--- to be safe you could always call your dr's office and ask them once you get a bfp what their schedule is as far as how often you come back... GL!

Go and if you need blood taken you can always go to a lab that's in your plan in Florida..they have labs there.

I agree. I found out I was preggo with DS the day before a scheduled trip. It didn't stop me, though I did go to bed on the early side.

Heck yeah...do the IUI and the trip! Remember, dealing with IF you are aware of the pregnancy much sooner then most women would be. If you were not so intuned, you could be on the trip w/o even realizing you were pg..KWIM?
