Question regarding strollers and carseats
DD id 5 1/2 months old. I am seriously considering buying the convertible car seat in the next couple of weeks because I feel she has outgrown the infant seat. It is a struggle to get her into it and the straps on her- I feel they are so tight and cannot be adjusted further. It's actually difficult to get her arms through and then she screams.
The carseat is part of a travel system, so I have a regular stroller. I feel like she is still too little to sit in the regular seat in the stroller where I can't see her (When i'm walking or shopping). Is there another option?

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
Jen we are going through the samething and will be buying the new seat soon. I leave it in the car now. I'll dress her wamr carry her to the car and put her in the infant seat. She's to heavy!! As for the stroller, Brianna sits in it great(she's 6months). I've been using it for a while and she sits up fine in it. I buckle her in and she loves to sit up and look around. I do miss my snap n go it was so easy!!

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
Liam was fine sitting in the regular stroller part at 5 mos. It reclines so as long as she is buckled, you should be ok.

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
As long as the stroller seat reclines, you can use it. I started using the regular stroller at 6 months.
ETA: you are saying you want her to face you in the stroller? In that case you still have to use the infant carrier, or you need to get another stroller that has this option. (there aren't too many and they are $$)

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
Landon was fine in the regular stroller at that age. Use the shoulder straps.

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
I agree with the others. DS was in the stroller from around 4 1/2 months. We just switched to the convertible seat at a little less than 8 months mostly due to his length. He loved it today!

Re: Question regarding strollers and carseats
My DD is starting to get snug in her infant seat too (she's just over 4 months- she's very long). I love the snap and go but think it's time to switch to the Convertible & Maclaren soon. I've been "practicing" with her in it around the house. As long as it's reclined, I feel comfortable. She loves looking around too!
