Question regarding christmas cards?
I made my cards last night and as usual only put dd on them. I was never really a fan of putting ourselves on the card. Plus I hate the way I look in photos and I feel like it would be like pulling teeth to get at least one good one (especially 33 weeks pregnant) so I didn't bother taking any either. It was never really our thing to put ourselves on the cards. My question is now I feel guilty that there are none of us and none of me pregnant. I didn't acknowledge the pregnancy anywhere on this card. I almost feel like I am leaving this baby out and I feel bad. What did you do with christmas cards pregnant (especially with the second baby)? And do you think it's ok just how it is? I can't help but feel like I left a part of my life out. Just trying to get assurance either way and if it's ok to just leave us out without it looking weird!

agree!! just wanted to add i was pregnant with my second around christmas card picture taking. It wasnt even a thought to put me on the card. Everyone already knew i was pregnant they didnt need to see me lol

lol definitely no offense taken because that's how I feel also. I never liked the idea of putting us on christmas cards. This year I just felt a little weird because I'm pregnant!

We get family pics done but I never put DH and I on the card. It's always just the kids and I'd keep it that way if I was pregnant.

I'm currently 31 weeks, and def am not putting a pic of me or DH, only of DS. When I was preg with him, I didn't even do photo cards. Only started once I had him.
Actually to be honest, I'm a super excited about this pregnancy as well, but have become so much more private. I don't even think I posted that I'm pregnant on facebook (all our friends and family know, it's not s secret, I just didn't make an announcement), and I rarely post pics of myself.

It's fine! Baby will be on next years cards. I never put family pics on either. My kids are way cuter so that's who everyone wants to see.

just kid pics. last year i was preg and i didnt mention anything about it on the card. i felt like it was dds last christmas card by herself. i just wanted it to be all about her.  i think your over thinking it!

I was pregnant with DS #2 last Christmas and it didn't even occur to me to incorporate that into our holiday card. It was pictures of DS #1 as usual.

Thanks ladies!! I feel like I was definitely overthinking a bit. I feel much better about it being just dd. That's what we usually do because I'm not a fan of having us on the card. I feel much better! Just wasn't sure! Hormones can definitely be a culprit! Lol

i only have one DS.... but I know when my friend was pregnant with her second, she had a picture of her DD (who was about 2) and she was holding a stuffed animal that was wearing a onesie that said " Little Brother". I thought that was cute! good way to acknowledge the baby on the way without using a pregnancy picture or whatever...
