Question re pumping and bottles
DH and I will be starting our registry today. Do Dr. Brown's bottles fit onto the Medela Pump In Style pump? How about Playtex Ventaire? We want to register for 2 types of bottles in case the baby doesn't like the first we try...Any other suggestions welcome!
Thanks!

Re: Question re pumping and bottles
One more thing (lol)...are certain bottles/nipples better for babies that will be BF and bottle fed? I plan on BFing as much as possible but would like to let DH give a bottle a few times a week.

Re: Question re pumping and bottles
I pump directly into the medela bottles that comes with the PIS. I also use the Dr Browns bottles, which fit perfectly. I have also pumped into the playtex drop ins one step system. Not sure about the ventaire though. I attached a link for the playtex products. YOu can call them to find out about the ventaire bottles.

I use slow flow nipples. I read that they are good for newborns who are EBF.

Re: Question re pumping and bottles
I bought an Avent pump and stocked up on Avent bottles.
Turns out my baby only wants MAM bottles. She was EBF until I went back to work and liked that nipple the best.
I thought it would be a pain (I wanted to pump direct into the bottle) but truthfully it's fine.
I pump into the Avent bottle, store the milk in the Lansinoh bags, and then transfer to the MAM bottle when ready.
It sounds like a lot of work but it's not.
Just wanted to throw that out there since initial plans at efficiency may not always work.
