I was flipping through the channels bc a small miracle happened and both my kids were sleeping

I caught this show and started watching,it is super impressive how much they save

First why does everyone but maxi pads lol. The three episodes I watched everyone bought pads lol

Ok the small pack of carefree liners was 1.09

She had a 1.00 off coupon so they were nine cents each

Great deal,but then she bought 95 of them

Why 95? Why so they by so many. So she had to go out and find 95 coupons


That is a lot of pads and pms lol

This show is hoarders with food. These people have serious issues, and lack something in their lives. I watched last week, she bought 22 things of deoderant. Who the F needs 22 deodeorants?? I dont use that much all year. Her garage looked like stop and shop. And not for anything, they are buying shit. Like 100 ramen noodles, 100 boxes of fruit loops?? Why?? These shows are crazy.

I think it's more of a compulsive thing. They don't care WHAT they're buying- just that they're saving money. I don't watch the show- but i've seen episodes here and there. I saw a woman buying tons and tons of diapers and she didn't have kids.

The only time it made sense was the young guy who bought tons of stuff to make care packages for Servicemen and women and their families.

I was wondering the same thing. I think I have seen only one or two episodes where they do "normal" grocery shopping.

These people are all so proud of their stockpile, like they are preparing for the apocolypse or something.

The episode I saw last week, she girl was buying snack size oreos and with her coupons and the sale they were free so how many does she buy?? 500!!!! WHY?!?!?!

i think there's some weird f'd up formula that goes into why they buy so many of an item at a time.
like you'll only get the item free if you buy 95 of them, not 93 or 96, only 95. You've seen them all sitting there with their binders and calculators figuring out exactly how many of a certain item they need to 'make it work'.

they don't need the item, nor could they ever need that many of whatever it is in their lifetimes, they just want to get it for free.

They do it for the thrill, the rush, the satisfaction of getting a bargain, etc.

I wouldn't mind the deodorant but look at the CRAP food they fill their carts with...caseloads of butterfingers, powerade, mustard, soda. I'd love to save that kind of money but not if it means eating mustard covered candy bars for the rest of my life

I will buy things I don't need/use and donate them...but I won't seek out 90 coupons!
However if I can get a package of pads for 9 cents after using a coupon, sure I'll buy a couple and donate them.
But most of that crap they buy must expire before they're actually able to use it!
