Question for you beautiful pregnant ladies...

I am not TTC yet so I felt a little weird about posting this there...
AF is 10 days late and I haven't had any cramps or feeling like it was coming soon. The only thing I notice is a knot in my stomach late at night and first thing in the morning when I wake up before I even get out of the bed. It is a feeling like as if I haven't moved my bowels in a while (like a feeling of constipation)
This morning I ran a LONG block to catch my bus and when I sat down I got a really bad cramp in my lower abdomen and starting feeling a wave of nausea. It lasted about 5 mins and went away. I thought for sure AF was here. But nothing!!!! I tested yesterday with FMU and got a BFN.
My cycle is usually 28-29 days and my last cycle was only 4 days long. Stopped BCP 7 months ago.
Do you think this is just normal because I was on BCP at one point? TIA!!!

I would guess that 10 days late, you would come up positive. But my 1st p/g I never came up positive on a urine test. Only on the blood test. I would say test again and if BFN call the Dr.

Hmm... I don't know much about BCP because I never took them, but I can tell you that I usually had very regular cycles but once or twice a year I'd be as much as 2 weeks late. It could be due to stress you might have been under a few weeks ago, change in the weather, etc.

That's actually why I had an expired HPT in my bathroom when I found out I was pg - it had been a year and a half since the last time my cycle was messed up. For me it was almost always due to my final exams and the holidays being at the same time.
