Question for Waterspout

When you were doing those t-shirts/onesies, did you have to iron it around the puff paint to get it to "puff"? I'm confused and don't want to make a mess Chat Icon

I dont know if she used the same stuff that I did but I used TULIP SLICK FABRIC PAINT. I bought it at Walmart but Michaels and AC Moore carry it as well. The paint doesnt bleed into the fabric but more sits on top. You dont have to iron it for it to puff or to "set" it..It says that it takes 4 hours to dry but I found that it took a lot longer..

Re: Question for Waterspout

Sorry, I've been out all day. Let me take a picture of one of the bottles I have. But she described it well. No need to do a darn thing with it. No ironing. But you need to let it dry for 24 hours and not wash it for 72 hours. I got some bottles at Walmart (fabric dept) and others at Michaels. Any brand works that I've found.

Thanks Kelly, I got these giant bottles that the guy in AC Moore directed me to but I think I should return them. Thanks!

Re: Question for Waterspout

I know the 1oz bottles are between .79 at walmart and $1.50 at Michaels. Walmart has a big selection, but Michaels has even more. Depends on how specific you want to be. I'm using the paints to decorate onesies at my shower. I'm laying out 3 or 4 for all my guests to draw on. It should be interesting!

I just wanted to make a t-shirt but these bottles seem high maintenance.

I love the shower idea! Very cute!
