Question for those with infants in daycare
I will be going back to work when DS is 6 weeks old I was just wondering what you had to provide the sitter / daycare with and do you ask them to keep track of feedings and diaper changes (stool)
Just wondering if I should be asking for this ; as I do keep track of it now while I am home with him
Thanks and any other advice would be truly appreciated - this is going to be SO HARD

Re: Question for those with infants in daycare
Clean clothes to keep there. diapers, formula, wipes....things you keep in your diaper bag. The center should give you a daily report of diaper changes. how many pees and poops and the times they eat/drink. Ask all and any Q's you have, have good communication with your care giver and make sure you fill out the Emergancy Contact Card..

Re: Question for those with infants in daycare
Well, will he be in a center? If so, then they provide you with a sheet everyday that shows DC's feedings/diaper changes, etc.
If it is in home, then I am sure you can ask the provider to that for you.
ETA: You should check with the center as to what they need. When DS was in daycare, we provided food/formula, diapers, wipes, sheets, extra outfit, binky, bowls, spoons.

Re: Question for those with infants in daycare
You should check with your provider but for us we provide clean clothes, diapers and wipes. When she was still on bottles, we provided bottles and formula.
Our center does provide formula we could use but DD was on a special formula so we brought that.
They also do a sheet for us to tell us how much she eats and all the other details of her day (when she slept, bowel movements, wet diapers, what she plays, what classes she had-everything).
It is difficult at first but trry to remind yourself that you are doing what is best for your family-lots of luck

Re: Question for those with infants in daycare
Here is what we provide and leave at the center:
clean clothes (I always make sure they have at least 3 extra outfits) wash cloths (3) wipes diapers ointment socks (2 pairs) blanket (2) crib toys bibs (3) jar food
We bring fresh bottles every day.
The center provides me with a daily report that lets me know the times of each feeding, what he ate, and how much; the time of each diaper change, and whether it was pee or poop; the time and length of each nap.
