Question for those who went through a miscarriage before

Any advice on how to relax???

I think i'll be better once i can get out of the 1st trimester. I'll be 10 weeks on Saturday.
I've been feeling MUCH better overall and nausua is gone, but because of that i have become overwhelmed with fear that at my next sono the baby won't be there anymore. Am i being irrational?..Is that even likely after i saw the baby moving around (we saw the baby's spine too) at the 8 week sono.
Two more weeks until the next sono and i just don't know how i'm gonna make it. I wish i could just get a sono sooner for peace of mind.

It is scary and I don't think it gets better until you can feel the baby moving around.

It's sooo normal to feel that way. I had an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage and when I became pregnant this time around I was petrified. The worrying definitely does get better. Hang in there.

Anytime I have trouble letting go of worry I think to myself "Is the worry going to change the outcome?" I then realize that the outcome is the same whether I worry or relax. That helps me let go usually.

Edit to say: I understand where you are coming from. I am 15 weeks now and have miscarried before. The other day I was worried all day long because I woke up feeling more like myself and less "pregnant"...

We can drive ourselves crazy!!

I'm the same way. I am basically wishing away these next nine months until I am holding a baby in my arms. That's when I'll relax (and have a whole new set of worries to deal with )

Oh man, the first 12 weeks were torture. I was a complete nervous wreck. I am almost 15weeks and since I havent had a sono for a couple of weeks now Im starting to freak myself out again. Its really hard not to think something is wrong especially after having gone through a MC. Trust me, it does get easier once you hit the 12 week mark..and I think since you've seen the baby and have seen the heartbeat you have a great chance that things are going to be just fine.
