question for those who used mutt manners/ Best friend's trainig...

Did your dog/puppy's skin get irritated where stim collar was?
Max's neck is all red and raw looking!
He does scratch at the collar a lot. But he also scratches at his regular collar.
I spoke to the trainer and he said he is probably just sensitive to it. And to leave it off him for longer periods of time and to move it around his neck.
I also spoke to my friend who used them and she said her dog experienced the same irritation.
I just feel so bad for him.
Any one else have this problem? anything I can do to soothe it?

it happened once when wet sand got caught under the collar. I also have heard that if it's too loose it can irritate their skin. just switch up where the collar sits

Mav had that in the beginning. We changed the collar that it came with to a fabric collar and we have it tight enough where you can stick your fingers in the color with no problem. At night we take it off of him. After we changed the collar from that black one to the fabric one he was better

but maybe it was too loose?

Our puppy had severe marks-looked like little burns or sores-from his training collar. we were diligent about moving it and making sure it was tight enough and he still got them. we eventually stopped using it b/c nothing we did helped the problem and i wasnt willing to have him in pain.
