Question for PIO vets

is there some trick to this i'm missing? i'm SO bruised that i'm running out of places to inject. both last night and tonight, the first place i chose to inject had blood when i drew back the syringe so i had to find new spots but the trouble is, everything is bruised. should i inject into the bruises?

also, i seem to bleed a lot after....could lovenox be making this happen? i mean, it stops as soon as i put pressure on but there is always a decent amount of blood.

where exactly r u injecting...

i found i bled more in certain spots,so i moved it around

do not go into bruises! ouch!

i was on for 12 weeks and was sore all over and it def got hard at the end

i'm injecting into the upper right quadrant of my butt but my ass is fat so maybe that has something to do with it? lol. there's definitely more fat than muscle!

what did you do when you had bruises everywhere? how did you find a place to do it?

they told me 4 quadrants..so upper and lower right and left..it was staying away from the crack that u wanted

That's interesting! If I can do lower right, that will help! I go back and forth between my right side and left side. Thanks for your help!

You should ask them next time you're at your dr's office! That's what I did back in the day.... Linda saw my ass I have no shame .. but she gave me some helpful tips!

In addition to the great advice already given, I found that I had to make sure I rubbed the area after the injection or I really got bad bruising and bumps

I would alternate sides and def heat your butt and the PIO before you inject...then DH would rub it for like 3 min and I would sit on a heating pad for 15 min after...I had no bruises and I was on it for almost 11 weeks.
