question for li ivf people
lake success office question - do they do iui's during morning monitering hours? just asking because the last few times i have been there, I have seen some men there, as well as some women with, ahem, samples. i'm doing second clomid cycle with no iui, but curious to know about this.

Yes they do. they only need about 1/2 hour to wash and analyze the specimen.

that's good to know. i though for sure that if I would hav to do an iui, I would have to take part of the morning off of work

I always went right to work after. When you are ready for your IUI you make an appointment with the tech who prepares the sample. I think the schedule people every 15 minutes or so stating at 7. Once the sample is ready (usually in 20-30 minutes) you are called into an exam room and inseminated. You stay laying down for 10 minutes and then leave. It doesn't take much longer then a regular appointment.

Mine were either done by the PA or doctor.
