question baby with enlarged kidney
Sorry for crashing your board, I know I don't belong on here because I am TTC at the moment, sorry again for crashing.
My twin sister went to see a specialist because her unborn baby has one kidney thats little enlarged. They say it is common and have to wait to see until she is born to see if goes back to normal.
Have any of you ladies dealt or had similar situation. She already had a m/c back in july and she is nervous because she is very worried about her little girl inside. I feel like she is needs to spend more time enjoying her pregnacy not worrying about it constantly since her M/C. Thanks again

Re: question baby with enlarged kidney
I DD's father (before my marriage) just had a DD in September. She had an enlarged kidney, they checked on her constantly while she was still in the womb, but there is nothing really to do until she is born. WHen she came out. They did sonograms and just keep checking. I believe he said that they also had her checked for down syndrome (Sorry, but its the truth) because they said that sometimes kids with downs have an enlarged kidney. SHe seems to be healthy to me, she looks and acts normal, her tests were all negative. They just keep an eye on the kidney. Just tell your sister to pray and when her little one is born, I am sure that all she has to do it to keep an eye on it. This litle one goes to the bathroom as normal and everything.

Aww thanks for responding back, she did have the downs checkup and her little girl is fine, she is concern because she worries about her. Thank you again. I will relay the info to her.
