Question about voting:

I know - another thread!!

But, actually, this is the first political one I've started AND it is more of a question than an opinion or request for opinions.

Now that my brother is in... well, he is in his situation. How can he vote? I know there is such a thing as an "absentee ballot" but I know nothing about it b/c I've never had to use it. The wording online is very wordy and confusing...

What can he do come November??

I went to the office in Yaphank to register for my new voting district, there are these two OLD ladies that sit at their respective desks. One with a donkey and the other with an elephant.

They were both very nice, though they will only help those who are affiliated with the same party as them! Chat Icon

I swear, it's something out of a movie!! Chat Icon

But they WILL help you.

Re: Question about voting:

phew!!

thank you!!

i called - and spoke with someone. she told me that he CAN use an absentee ballot, explained how it works and told me to either go to the post office or use the link provided to me by a poster above so i can go ahead and put in the paperwork for it.

i was so worried they were going to tell me he couldn't vote or something. Chat Icon i guess i'm a little sensitive to this lol talk about jumping the gun haha.

My parents are doing an absentee for my Grandma because she can't get out to vote so I'm sure you can get one for Kenneth.
