Question about traveling with DD and plane

She's 10 months old

We're bringing our MacLaren because it reclines (for naps)

2 ?'s:

1) Should we bring a car seat with us for the plane? Or taxi ride in Jamaica? Or just hold her and bring the Bjorn. We were going to bring the Bjorn either way.

2) We have the Maclaren Quest, and there is not that much shade...Should we just recline DD and put a crib sheet over the front when its too sunny? Sounds like a stupid question I know

Re: Question about traveling with DD and plane

If she is going to be spending a lot of time in the stroller then def bring the Maclaren. That way she can sit up and recline if needed.

I wouldn't bring the car seat just for the plane and the taxi ride if you're not going to actually need it down there.

I think putting a blanket or something over the front of the stroller would be fine.

Re: Question about traveling with DD and plane

I didnt bring a car seat to Aruba for my 11 mo....but I DID bring my Bjorn...it was great in the airport..I had him right next to me and I had both my hands free...

I brought my jogger (wheels are the best in the sand) and we parked it under a tiki hut plus we put a towel over the top...for beach side naps!

Hmm

So now I'm thinking

Bring the Bjorn

Forget the car seat

Bring the citi mini instead of Maclaren (citi mini has better wheels for sand and has complete shade)

Sound ok?

Def wouldn't bring the Maclaren since it can't go on the sand!

This is what I would do.

I would definitely bring the car seat if you spend any time in a car.
