Question about the Town of Brookhaven
I heard that when you buy a house and put more than $3000 into it, you can get a reduction on your property tax.
Does anyone know anything about this or have any information?

I haven't hear anythign about that. We bought our house in Selden a little over a year ago and have put more than that into it. If you do find out about any progam please share it with us. I did grieve my taxes in Brookhaven this year if you have any questions about that next year.
