Question about Teething and Fever
My DS has had a fever on and off for two days on. It's low and we've been giving him Tylenol. We took him to the pediatrician on Thursday because he was screaming and crying for a few hours straight. DS has never cried like that. At that time he didn't have a fever, and the ped said he was fine (no ear infection, no fever, throat was fine, etc.) We've been using the Baby Orajel which is definately helping, but I am concerned about the two days of fever (about 100 degrees) but on and off not constant. Should I be worried? Is this normal?
By the way, other than the fever, and eating a little bit less, DS has been a lot more comfortable the last two days, smiling, active, and not crying much at all.

Re: Question about Teething and Fever
Abby went through having a low grade fever on and off for a couple of days last week. At one point, it hit 102.5 in the middle of the night - too high to be low grade, but too low to take her to the ER so we gave her the Tylenol. She was at the pediatrician 3 times last week - one time being a follow up. Same thing - no ear infections, no stomach or digestive issues. HOWEVER, her nose is very runny and she is drooling a lot sliming me every chance she can. The last time at the ped, she said that her gums were starting to get a lil swollen. I think its pretty normal.
