Question about sending family pictures
Let me ask you a question.
Does it bother you when you send pictures of your child to your family and they send it out to everyone that they know?
It doesn't bother me usually - but I have been noticing that someone that I do mail them to, does it EVERY time.
The reason I notice this, is cause I get responses back from these people (that I don't know) telling me how cute my kid is.
Well, I know she is cute - but who they heck are you?????
I really want to reply back and ask who they are sometimes.

Not really.
If anything I would be flattered that they took the time to e-mail me and say nice things about my child.

I agree but if it bother you, tell the person not to do that anymore

Thanks - I just think I am a little cranky today and that is why it bothered me.
I guess if I feel that sometimes some of the pictures are personal, I won't mail them out. I just figured its my family - wouldn't they know that.
Whatever - I'll get over it

It did when I didn't realize they were doing it. Now that I know, I make sure not to email some of them.

It would only bother me if I were using the photos for something else - like a holiday card or birthday invite. I don't send those photos out until after the cards are out now.
If you know who it is, limit the photos to the ones you don't mind everyone seeing.

I know - I was just talking to DH - cause it is his mom that sends them to everyone. I just said to him, now I know for next time not to send pictures of myself too

If it was your mom would you be annoyed? I think it's hard for MILs to win either way.
I remember my girlfriend sent the photos for her dd's 1st birthday invite to her mom & her MIL for feedback on what she should use for the invite. I saw a slew of people went into the album, so I asked her "I thought you were sending them to only 2 people. You had over 30 people in your album." She was livid. Her MIL had send them to everyone.
