Question about RE's
I would like to call tomorrow and finally make an appointment for DH and I to see one. I was thinking about calling RSoNY stony brook practice as I have heard a lot about that practice on here. For those of you who go there which Doctor would you recommend? Also, if anyone would like to recommend their own practice I'm all ears!! Thanks ladies!

Question about RE's
No advice on RSNY, but I go to LI IVF and have had a great experience. They have an office out there too.
Good luck!

Re: Question about RE's
I see Dr. Stelling in west islip. I know they all go to the different offices so I've seen every doctor in the practice (ughh probably bc I have been going there for so long ) and I honestly like them all.
There is 1 dr I'm not a fan of. Dr. Saketos. Not that she isn't good or know what she's doing. She lacks personality and seemed cold.
Dr. Stelling is my favorite and I also really like Dr. Halfen
Best if luck!!

Thats so funny cause I love Dr. Saketos!!! She gave me a hug when I graduated and personally wanted to look at my lining to make sure the FET would work. I guess we all have different experiences with RE's.

Re: Question about RE's
Everyone's going to have their own opinion about the RE that they go to that's why it's so hard to choose the right one. I picked a place that took my insurance and was relatively close to my job- where I live. Plus my gyno recommended my RE dr and I love him and trust his judgement.
I go to RS of NY. - Mineola My main dr is Dr. Trivax whom I love but who you have isn't always who you see. In fact i barely saw Trivax. thank god he was on for my transfer. That was the main procedure I wanted him for.
I always got Dr. Sung who I wasnt really a fan of. Some people love her- some dont. She's grown on me a little since I've been there But I prefer Dr. Trivax. Dr. Saketos I only met once- at my retrieval- she was nice but her personality was kind of blah. Many love her. I had Dr. Stelling for the one IUI and loved his personality. Very smart but also witty to help you relax a little bit. Same as Trivax. So I tend to go or the witty male doctors! Ha
Good luck with whomever you choose to go to. Praying for a successful cycle for you.
pray:

Re: Question about RE's
for my first, i went to RSNY Mineola, my Dr. was also Trivax but I never really saw him either (like the PP said). It is very much a "factory feel" though, but I am not sure if the other RSNY offices are like this. For my second I am considering smaller practices that have gotten good reviews by the ladies on here, in eastern nassau though so i'm not sure what area you need. In any case, good luck!

The West Islip office not factory like at all. Even the Stonybrook one isn't even though it's a big office. I felt that way about Mineola when I went so I try to avoid going there if I can. Just personal preference I guess
