question about nuchal...
I had one last time and i am havingone on monday but what exactly does it test for agian?

I could be wrong but isn't that the test they do on the thickness of the neck fold...to test for Downs Syndrome?

are you talking about the first trimester screening?
I have the paper right here in my pocketbook I had to sign. It is the test for Chromosomal disorders such as trisonmy 21 (Down syndrome). It also tests for trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome)-this one is the thickness behind the fetus' neck fold.

Yes that is correct. They also take a drop of blood to put together with the sonogram report.
