Question about MLSLI

When the price is reduced on an old listing, does it then show up as a NEW listing? Meaning, when you use the search option for homes listed in the last 10 days, will it show up?

I also just noticed the option to search for homes listed within the last 30 days, 60 days, etc. So I am trying to figure out if they truly are new listings or if the prices have been reduced.

TIA

It does not automatically get a new listing number, but some agents will pull the listing from MLS and then list again, as a new listing. So the listing may disappear for a bit, then reappear as a new listing with a new price.

Ok, so it's only considered new when it has a new listing number then? That makes sense.

newly listed

ETA: NOT just a price reduction on an already listed house

Then yes, what the others said. The info in a listing can be edited for a price reduction, but sometimes, an agent will pull the listing off MLS and "relist" it with the new price so that it gets a new number - and it shows up "higher" on the list when you do an MLSLI search.
