Question about level 2 ultrasound.
Is it possible to have the 20week sono done earlier. Lets say, around 18wk 4days? I would love to know the gender just before Thanksgiving so I can reveal it to the family. Do you think they will do it a week and a half early?

Most places won't do it before 19 weeks.

mine said to come in after 19 weeks but since the days arent precise it prob doesnt make much of a difference...

Im in the same boat I tried to make the appt the Tuesday before Thanksgiving @18 weeks (for the same reason) they told me its a little to early and scheduled me for the Tuesday after @19 weeks. Dr said a week can really make a difference and 19 weeks is the earliest.

For some reason my doctors office schedules early anatomy scans between 16-18 weeks with a follow up at 20-22 weeks. Not really sure why they do it like that but its standard practice at her office.

bummer. Well, I guess I'll have to wait until Christmas to share the big news with everyone.

I have my level II scheduled for around 20 and a half weeks but your Dr should be able to tell you the gender by now. I was able to find out at around 17 weeks what I was having.
