question about I.U.I
Hi girls, I had my first I.U.I today! The dr said everything looked great! Did your Dr. have you start taking any vitamins? Also, how did you get through 2 weeks of waiting.... I am so emotional!
Oh yeah, and is it normal to have cramps and to feel alittle uncomfortable?

Re: question about I.U.I
yes, it is totally normal to have cramps. my RE started me on crinone ( progesterone) a day after IUI. Do you mean prenatal vitamins? You should be taking them all along.
No advice on 2 ww, I am not tolerating waiting well.
Good luck!!

It's just like a normal 2ww. The impatient ones test at 8/9/10dpo... the realistic ones wait till 11/12/13dpo... and the super heroes wait for the beta!

Re: question about I.U.I
I was taking pre-natals and that is what I was told to continue with. The nurse told me to come back in 2 weeks if I did not have a period and they would do a blood test.
You could always test earlier if you feel like it. But if you did an HSG trigger shot, then you need to wait at least 10 days after the shot was taken bc it can give you a false positive.
I was a little crampy for part of the day with my first IUI.
Good Luck

Re: question about I.U.I
I got a little crampy and had some headaches, I think it was from the Ovidrel.
Like pp said you can test early but might get a false negative and that can be discouring. My beta is next Friday and I am going to try to hold this time. Let's see! Good luck!

Re: question about I.U.I
yes, it is normal to feel a little crampy afterwards. I did not take anything other than my prenatal vitamins as per my doctor.

Re: question about I.U.I
Good luck!
I have not had my first one yet...hopefully in two weeks, but we will see still waiting for AF after 12 days on Lupron (today).
I have been on prenatal vitamins since our first RE consult in mid-october.
