Question about Edgepark
For those that had to wait 3 days for their insurance to clear the breast pump, did they get an answer in 3 days? Or was it longer?
(I'm waiting "patiently" for them to contact me)

Re: Question about Edgepark
They called me 2 days later to tell me that it was OK'd by insurance but they were waiting for doctor authorization.
Seriously, just call them! Or log onto your account, it will have the info there! I was logging on and looking at my account's info like every 3 minutes while I was waiting to hear if it was approved or not.
And I did call once and they were great about it and called me back a few hours later to say that it went through --- so I think calling helped because it gave someone the job of working on the case instead of it just sitting in a computer somewhere!!
I hope it goes through for you!!

Re: Question about Edgepark
I called my insurance company first - they said it was completely covered. When I called EdgePark they asked if I spoke to my insurance and they told me what my insurance normally covers. They didn't mention calling me back - they just sent it to me and that was it

Re: Question about Edgepark
It took me about three weeks for the whole process. During the three weeks edgepark kept calling every few days to keep me updated. Most of the wait time was for my Dr. authorization. They kept following up with my Dr., and I received my pump completely covered yesterday! Edgepark was awesome!!!

Re: Question about Edgepark
Got my call back in 2 days asking me to pay my co-pay. I paid over the phone and got my pump the next day.

I called when I was about 14 weeks bc I thought it would take a long time. It took over a week for my doc to write the script for it then for my insurance to approve it. I already have it.
