question about cramping/aching in belly
Ok so I'm 22 weeks but every so often, it seems as if I stand too long or if I'm walking too much I get this dull ache in my lower belly (different than AF cramps and my earlier cramping). My Dr. said I probably need to drink more water but does anyone experience this? It seems as if it goes away once I sit down and relax...yet I don't think I'm doing THAT much sometimes when it happens. ?? LIke one day I just went to BRU and it happened. IDK!... Anyone? TIA!

could be a braxton hicks...I always found that when standing they were a tad "achy-ish".

Re: question about cramping/aching in belly
I'm 25 weeks and for the past few weeks I have noticed when I walk too fast or too much on the treadmill or on the street I start to feel a cramp/pain in my lower right or left side. If I stop what I am doing it goes away. Now, that said what I am doing is NEVER that much exertion. I asked my dr. and he said think of everything going on in your body - there are going to be a lot more pains and weird aches as you move along and in different activities - he told me if you feel that way =- stop -- it means you are doing too much for you. Hope that helps

Re: question about cramping/aching in belly
I have gotten bad cramping on my left side twice since being PG. Not like the stretching cramps either, it is worse. But then after about 20 minutes or so it goes away. I think its all par for the course!

Re: question about cramping/aching in belly
Definitely BH- it would feel like she was going to fall right through the skin under my belly button..... And yes- drinking water most definitely helps.
You will be amazed at how tired your body gets as you progress.

Re: question about cramping/aching in belly
I am experiencing the same pains...especially at night. It feels like cramps but its definitely a little different and more dull...everyone is telling me its growth spurts but I do feel them often. I also have a particular pain at time "down there"...I think my little guy is pressing on my nerve or something bc I feel like a I feel him there.

Re: question about cramping/aching in belly
Yes!! I started getting these a few weeks ago. I even called the doctor because I got nervous. They said it was normal. Yesterday I got some really bad ones and I sat down with a bottle of water and drank it. I was better then.
