Question about bug spray & sunblock
At what age can you start putting bug spray on your LO's? I have no clue, but I know it's 6 months for sunblock.
What recommendations do you have for bug spray and for sun block? DD is 4 1/2 months. Hoping to be able to put something on her next month if needed because I know we will be at the beach and outside a lot. So I am assuming something is better than nothing.

Question about bug spray & sunblock
Our ped said the 6m rule for both no longer applies and 2m is fine especially since its summer. We were told anything SPF 30 or higher and anything that has 25%-30% of deat. Check with your ped because we were given a summer checklist from them for our 6w old.

Our ped said sunblock is ok at a younger age as long as you get one safe for a baby. He recommended California Baby or Aveeno.

Sunblock is fine as long as you choose one safe for babies. My DS is 2.5 and has never worn bug spray... I just don't like all the chemicals in it being absorbed into his skin. I usually put drier sheets in his pockets and believe it or not, it works!

I ended up looking there. The ingredients were moderate. California baby ingredients were low. So I think I will return and purchase that instead
