question about bottlefeeding a
3 week old..dd was eating about 2- 21/2 oz..during and after hospital...she is now sleeping longer like 4 hours and getting up and eating 3 to almost 4 oz.is this too much? she seems fine but i dont want to over feed her.she is a really fussy baby and im not sure if its gas..or now if im feeding her too much..does anyone know the amount a 3 week old should be eating? i didnt want to call my dr.just yet..im new at this and i dont want to sound like a pain..thanks

DD took about 4 ounces at every feeding at 3 weeks. I was surprised, but dr. said it was perfectly normal. She had AR badly, and was switched to Alimentum at 10 days, but was drinking a lot and doing well.

totally normal - my daughter was drinking 4 ounces at that age also - you will soon notice that you will increase the formula from time to time - at 5 months - she's now drinking 8 oz
