question about addressing an invitation for 3rd bday at a place...
Do you address the envelope to just the kids? Its for DD's 3rd bday so of course most of the parents will stay with their little ones.
Do I write...The Smith Family?
Or just Tommy&Katie Smith? (brother and sister kids)

I've done both. For DS's 2nd b-day I put just the child's name but I am friendly with the parents so they knew they were invited as well.

I just put the child's name. I think it's assumed that the parents will accompany them at that age.
