question abkiut adding apps to your phone
I just got a new Verizon Phone...The Ally. When I went tlo download my first app from the market before you can hit ok...it says allow this app to...network communicate (Full internet access), prevent from from sleeping, and read phone state and idenity. I don't want to download anything to is going to screw up my phone, but I know many people download apps to theirs.

That is a usual warning that you will get with many apps. Honestly, I have downloaded DOZENS of apps and never had a problem with them accessing my stuff. The only thing I would be careful of is if it is an app that requires gps location or something like that which will eat your battery quickly. I suggest knowing how to turn off your gps and wifi so it helps your battery.
