I can't believe how long ago it was - if I remember correctly, any cramping or pain I might have felt I attributed to ovulation and such.
Sorry - might not be a lot of help. I have to say I don't recall any major feeling that made me think - we got it. I had to wait it out.

Yes, I always felt a pinching in the ovary area right before ovulating... good luck!
