Quest Diagnostics question
Can I walk-in, or do you have to make an appointment?

Quest Diagnostics question
You can walk in, but you will likely wait a while depending on the lab.

Re: Quest Diagnostics question
You can walk in. But just know they take appointments first. So if the waiting room is empty; they will take you immediately.
If its full; you could wait there a good while.

Quest Diagnostics question
You can walk in but I would call... Some things need an appointment. I had the 6 hour glucose done that needed an appointment and one for a specific allergy testing but I can't remember which? That was a quick appointment but i was told that one needed an appointment. Every other time I have walked in

Re: Quest Diagnostics question
I always make an apt. They have different staff taking walk-ins and appointments. I've made apts for 6:30 (which is the earliest on their site) but they open at 6 and there usually isn't a wait then.

Quest Diagnostics question
If you need 2 or 3 hr glucose you need an appointment. Everything else they take walk ins. I would think the earlier you go the more crowded it is.

Quest Diagnostics question
Thanks, everyone! It's just a blood test to see if I'm JCV positive. Simple blood test, I hope!

Usually it's empty in the afternoon, so that's a good time to go.

Quest Diagnostics question
I had the (dis)pleasure of going on Saturday for a 3 hr glucose test. I got there at 8 and left at 12 when they closed. The last half hour was the least crowded. I asked if it would have been any quicker if I came when they opened and he told me it was just as crowded. Even people with appointments waited an hour or more - but they were short staffed.
